Introduction<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>According to Mowday\u00a0<em>et al.<\/em>\u00a0(2013), employees motivation plays essential role in the working of any organization. Coles supermarket is among the top leading retail companies in Australia and other regions. Stores of Coles have number of employees who belong from different regions due to which the retail company has gained much popularity as employees can understand the need of people of their region in a better way. This research generally focuses on the motivational factor and its impact on employees of Coles.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>1.1 Aim of research<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Aim of this research is to analyze the importance of motivational factors in an organization and also to study the motivational factor adopted by Coles retail company.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>1.2 Objective of research<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The objectives of the research follow as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To detect different motivational factors utilize by Coles retail companyfor their employees.<\/li>\n<li>To determine the effectiveness of motivational factor in Coles working style.<\/li>\n<li>To study the effect of motivational factor on all employees and the overall performance of Coles<\/li>\n<li>To inspect the reason behind use of motivational factors by Coles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>1.3 Hypothesis<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>H1 \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Coles utilizes motivational factors to motivate their employees and to upgrade their performance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>H0 &#8211;<\/strong>\u00a0Coles do not utilize motivational factors to motivate their employees and to upgrade their performance.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> Literature review<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2.1 Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to Pinder (2014), employees motivational factors depends on different other factors and some of these factors are gender, age, beliefs and thoughts. In addition to this, employee can also be motivated with flexibility in the working hours which can provide enough time to the employee to care of some personal stuff too. Motivation generally depends on the age, gender and beliefs of the person according to which employees should be motivated. In this context, de Jesus\u00a0<em>et al.<\/em>\u00a0(2013) stated that the turnover of Coles is dependent on the performance of the employees where individual\u2019s performance level is further dependent on the internal and external environment of workplace.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>2.2 Different motivational factor adopted by Coles to motivate their employees<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>According to Goetsch and Davis (2014), there are some factors on which performance of employees of Coles is dependent and these factors are &#8211; positive environment, communication among the individuals working within the organization, management style, leadership style and reward system \u2013 these are the motivational factors which has made the environment of workplace best suited for the increase in the performance level of employees. Motivation is a two way process where manager and organization both participate equally. Manager\u2019s motivation and organizational motivation both are equally necessary. According to Cerasoli\u00a0<em>et al.<\/em>\u00a0(2014), performance of emplee and job satisfaction level both are dependent on motivational factors. In case of Coles, employees are from different regions so motivation process should be carried out while looking at their gender, beliefs and age. And in this context, \u00c5\u00bduperkien\u00c4\u2014 and \u00c5\u00bdilinskas (2015)\u00a0stated that monetary factor is one of the best motivational factor adopted by Coles.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>2.3 Importance of motivational factor in organization<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>According to Ford (2014), motivational factors help in increasing the performance level of the employees. This has caused the increase in the performance, productivity and profitability of Coles.And with the help of various motivational factors managers try to enhance their team\u2019s performance also.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>2.4 Summary<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Motivational factor plays important role in the performance of organization like Coles. Coles is one of the best known retail shop and the monetary factor is one of the best motivational factor adopted by Coles.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>3. Research Methodology<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><em>3.1 Research approach<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>Research philosophy relates the relation between different theories and different principles. Qualitative and quantitative method has been used for rent this research study.<\/p>\n<h3>3.2 Research Design<\/h3>\n<p>Research Design helps to present the whole research work in a presentable form where the design of research is based on experiments, qualitative and quantitative method.<\/p>\n<h3>3.3 Research Philosophy<\/h3>\n<p>The researcher philosophy adapted by the researcher for the study is constructivist one. Research philosophy helps to gather information from the related theories.<\/p>\n<h3>3.4 Data collection method<\/h3>\n<p>Data for this research has been collected by utilizing both primary and secondary data collection method. Information had been gathered with the help of employees of Coles and other sources.<\/p>\n<p>3.5 Sample Size<\/p>\n<p>The primary data has been collected by interviewing 10 stores employees and 10 store managers.<\/p>\n<h3>3.6 Research ethics<\/h3>\n<p>Ethics and code of conduct are taken into consideration while collecting data for the research work. All rules and regulations have been followed.<\/p>\n<h3>3.7 Limitation<\/h3>\n<p>Limitations that came during collection of data was the limited information from the side of employees of Coles and the budget.<\/p>\n<h2>References<\/h2>\n<p>Mowday, R.
