Sustainable marketing refers the kind of marketing that incorporates with the customer needs, the organization and society in long term generic. It means product designing and marketing which can be used worldwide by all customers or users around the world over expanded time, without harming the consumers or the environment.
Few writers identify sustainable marketing with concepts like social responsibility marketing, humanistic marketing and ecological marketing. The concepts are on the basis of the idea of organizational tasks to decide the needs, wants and interests of targeted market and to provide the satisfaction sufficiently in compare to the competitors in a ways that preserve or enhance the consumer’s and society’s well being (Kotler and Keller, p.22). Such approach builds better relationship with customer by supplying direct goods and services as per their needs, and by preserving and enlarging the whole society’s well being.
