2.) A greenhouse layer increases the amount of heat energy in the ground layer. Where does this energy come from?

1) Temperature of the skin directly depends on the amount of solar radiation which are coming from the sun and the amount of radiations which are being reflected back into space from the surface of the earth
2) The layer of the greenhouse gases which allows the solar radiation to pass through it.
A few of these solar radiations re radiate back which is primarily stopped by the greenhouse layer.
This directly results in the increase in the amount of heat energy.
