Please define Strategic HRM, and provide two examples of strategic HRM initiatives
Strategic HRM (Human Resource Management) can be defined as a basic process where the company attracts various candidates to join the organization, then there are ways to retain the employees by various rewards and awards which can be a big boon to the organization. Strategic HRM department not just deals with it’s core roles, rather it is at the centre and it deals with various other departments simulationously in order to keep up with the plans and goals of all the departments. Strategic HRM within the human resource department, use various opportunities and methods to make the other departments in work in sync with the company goals and make them work for efficiently and effectively.
For example- The role of an HR manager is very important and crucial in an organization. The core work is to work on the HR solutions and implement various projects. HR Manager has to deal with various strategic goals of the organization to complete the target. Another example can be of the goals and objectives of the recruitment. It is one of the excellent measurable strategic HRM processes.
