HRM plans must align with business strategies and goals. Explain how they get this information and from whom. If an organization is not engaged in HRM planning, what risks does that create for the business? For HRM ?
The basic organizational strategies goals and planes are generally defined and made by the top-level management along with the HR Professionals keep various things in mind.The Top management include people such as Management directors, directors, Chief executive officers, chief financial officer and Chief operations officer etc. The core work of the Top management is to keep figuring the various goals and visions which align with the competition level in the market and pre-define them so that the entire organization works to achieve those goals. It acts as a road map for the organization.
HRM ( Human resource management ) is basically a very integral part of any organisation which is responsible to keep the organization going, by defining the structure of the organization, recruiting the right people, selecting and training them etc.
HR Professionals which not only looks after the recruitment and selection procedures, but also is responsible for creating various policies and strategies, defining the basic salary structure and bonuses, implementing training and development plans and motivational activities for the employees.
If any Organization has not engaged itself in a proper HRM planning, then the following are the risks which can take place:
1) There is lack of proper and organized structure which leads to massive level of confusion within the employees of the organization.
2) The salary structure which needs to be properly defined lacks behind in the absence of proper HRM Planning, this leads to increase in the cost of the company.
3)HR Professionals constantly motivate employees, in the absence HR Professionals might lose on the motivation to work.
4) It may overall result in a very unstructured environment which will effect the overall working of the organization.
5) When a proper planning is missing, there is no uniformity and everyone focuses on their personal goals instead of syncing their personal goals with the organizational goals. .
6) The organization will never be able to achieve it’s goals and will always fail to do so.
If any Organization has not engaged itself in a proper HRM planning, then the following are the risks which can take place with the HRM:
1) HR Professionals will find it very difficult to retain people with proper HRM Planning.
2) With proper planning, the HR Professionals might end up taking extra man power which is not relevant to the organization.
3) HR Professionals will not be able to sync the activities of the individual employees with that of the organizational goals.
