- Communication skills
- A leader must have good skills communication. The way he or she communicates should be inspirational.
- Whenever a problem comes up, an optimistic method should be used to tackle such problems.
- Vision
- The vision toward goals must be clear to the leader. The deadlines and targets are to be considered but shouldn’t get too focused towards individual goals.
- Responsible
- A leader should be courageous to face any difficult situations. A wide picture of the possible events should be clear in leaders mind and be prepared to face any problems.
- Team builder
- A leader is someone, who has the ability to build a team on his own.
- The team must be efficient to achieve their goals and a leader must be motivating.
Leadership and management have many similarities and differences.
- Leaders are not bothered about the method of achieving a target, whereas managers always have plan.
- For efficient management, a manager must be a good leader.
- Management is the art of getting a work done whereas leadership is about inspiring the subordinates to do a job.
- Management is highly formal, but leadership can be either formal or informal.
Relationship between leadership and power
- Power is a potential ability to have authority over people or organization.
- Leadership is a process of continuously shaping the behavior of the subordinates by inspiring and motivating them and through which the goal is achieved.
- Individuals who have position and leadership qualities can create high throughout by using it in the right way.
