Difference between segmentation and positioning:-
- Segmentation and positioning difference is a segmentation of the customer’s small group with same taste or needs and whereas positioning is promoting a product in a target market.
- First step is segmentation of product’s promotion and positioning is the product promotion’s last step.
- The marketers create product’s interest in customer’ mind in case of positioning but in segmentation case customers already have their preference.
