Compare and contrast four marketing strategies used in mass marketing, direct marketing, micro-marketing, and one-to-one marketing.
Mass marketing strategies refer to the marketing strategies of the product which covers all customers or a broad range of customers without any specific target.
Example- Advertisements on websites, television channels etc.
Direct marketing refers to marketing activities, which includes the direct addressing of the customer. Eg. Advertising through cell phone text messages, emails etc.
Micro-marketing addresses only a specific set of customers. The advertising and promotional activities are meant to target the targeted customers.
Example- advertisements attracting senior citizen or children
One to one marketing is said to be the personal marketing where the individual customer is targeted. Also, it is known to be the key account management.
