Software Project Management: As the name suggests, the software project management in the art and science of planning and leading various software projects. It is one of the main sub-divisions of the project management in which projects related to software are first planned, then implemented, the entire process in monitored and finally controlled.
People related problem on software project management:People are an organizations biggest asset and when people are involved there are bound to be issues and problems, same is the case in the software project management. The various people related problems are as follows:

Lack of motivation:
People generally feel the lack of motivation due to various factors such as a biased working culture, low salaries as per expectations, lack of recognition and motivation, high work – pressures, etc. It is duty of the project manager to keep his or her employees satisfied by maintaining a work – life balance. There are times when there maybe very complex and monotonous projects which might take a toll on the employees, but project manager should constantly be there to support and motivate the employees.
Very Unproductive work environment:
This is very common in today’s time. The labour market is exploited thoroughly. People are hired for a specific job role but end up doing something very different which does not ad any quality to their profiles. Work Environment plays an important role in improving and decreasing the productivity of the employees. For example, a very noise work place can act like an hindrance in the work flow for many employees and they can lack concentration which can directly affect the quality.
Inefficient project management style:
In today’s era when technology has taken over the market, it is very important to be well aware of the advancement in the technologies and adapt to the changing environment. In order to grow and remain at the top, It is vital to have the first mover advantage at all stages and this can only happen when the management style is changed regularly according to the market analysis. The project manager at every stage is required to act as a leader, a person whom all the employees can follow and lead by example.
Problematic employees: In every organization, there will always be a bunch of employees who will be very problematic always: A few examples of problematic employees are:
– Generally, there are informal teams in every organization, and a formal and informal competition among-st them always. They find reasons and ways to put down people of the other opposite team and create problems continuously
– These problematic employees are the people who are never happy with anything and have a habit of creating an issue about any and everything. These leads to influencing other employees about the same and creating a very unhealthy environment to live in.
Lack of interest among-st the stakeholders: Share holders in any organization play a very important role in overall continuity of the business. They can be outsiders as well as insiders. For any project to be successful such as the software project, it is extremely important that each and every share holder despite of their share % takes active part in the process and progress of the project. Not only the share holders but various other people involved in the process should take interest in the entire process to make it successful.
