Identify a business leader you admire the most, describe his/her style of leadership, highlighting:

1. Leadership competencies: identify the technical, cognitive, relational competencies

2. Identify and describe the aspects of Responsible leadership.

3. Identify and describe the aspects of Influential leadership.

4. Critically analyze the different theories of leadership, identify a theory that explains his/her leadership style the most.

5. Impact on organizational performance: explain how the leader has transformed the organization.

Answer- Mr. Narayan Murthy is the business leader whom I admire.

His technical competencies relates to the knowledge which he possess & become the true leader of the era. He is a skillful and knowledgeable person that’s why he is reliable. His brain works efficiently to think, read, learn, remember the things & work things accordingly. His brain responds very fast interpret things quickly. His Interaction with teammates is the remarkable & everyone praise him. He respects every person & speaks politely.
Aspects of responsible leadership –
1. Vision- Vision must be clear & understandable.
2. Awareness- Know about the events going on & around.
3. Imagination- Use his thinking to solve the problems.
4. Responsibility- He owns the responsibility of every work.
5. Action- Take actions against problems.
6. Should be a thinker & has its own perspective of every situation.
7. Good communicator.
8. Believe in collective problem solving.
9. Gives moral support to the employees.
10. Make judgments based on data analysis.
Aspects of Influential Leadership-
1. Art of persuading- Mr. Narayan can persuade a person & explain him importance of the work, he is performing
2. Strategic move- Making strategies, managing and implementing them.
3. Inspiration- He inspires people to choose wisely and to go in right direction. To channelize energy in improving their performance.
Different theories of leadership are-
1. Trait Theory- Says about the qualities of the leader
2. Behavioral Theory- Specific behavior study
3. Contingency Theory- Related to leaders qualities & behavior
4. Charismatic Theory- Personality influences most in this type.
5. Transactional Theory- Giving rewards & punishments
6. Transformational Theory- Aspire followers to follow them.

I believe Mr. Narayan understand Transformational theory so well as he is concerned about employees. He motivates them to move ahead with lots of power. He influences everyone in this way.
